Obedience and Agility Class Rules: 1. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet if they have an accident or go to the bathroom. 2.Children are always welcome in class if they are respectful and accompanied by an adult. 3. Please refrain from drinking alcohol prior to class. Timing is very important in training, and alcohol will affect your performance. 4. No smoking during class. 5. In case of inclement weather, your instructor will call to give you class status. 6. Please try to be on time, latecomers affect the entire class. 7. Keep dogs leashed - no loose dogs unless directed by your instructor. 8. Remain seated while the dogs play. Your instructor will interrupt any inappropriate behavior. It is easy to get knocked over by the dogs. 9. All dogs must be able to be handled safely by your instructor. 10. Dogs are required to be current on all vaccinations. You must show proof you dog is up-to-date on Rabies, Distemper, & Parvo vaccinations at the first class. 11. If your instructor feels your dog is a danger to others or excuses your dog for any inappropriate behavior, it is for everyone’s safety. We don’t want any person or dog to have a bad experience. 12. If you miss a class, you are entitled to a credit. This class credit must be used during the next session of class or it will be void. 13. Class Registration is NON-REFUNDABLE. Please make sure you ask any questions regarding your dog's placement in class before paying class tuition. 14. Please inform the instructors of any possible food allergies your dog may have.
What to Bring / Wear: 1. Dogs must be on a regular buckle collar, harness, or gentle leader. No prong or choke collars. 2. Dogs must have a 4 - 6’ regular leash. Please no chain leashes or flexi-leads in class. 3. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You may wish to have a bag for your treats or a bait bag - (available for purchase at our facility.) 4. Lots of really good treats (unusual treats - not just your dog's normal kibble!) You will need treats that will keep your dog focused on you, rather than the other dogs & people. Have your dog nice and hungry, it will make your job easier! 5.Your patience, and a sense of humor. Training should be fun for everyone. (Your dog especially!) 6. Please bring your pet's vaccination records to the first class.
