| "I was pleased to meet Jen Pierce in her (former) dog-groomer role at Belmont Pet Shop. She is one of the rare people who can do a nail-trim for Lucy, my two-year-old French Bulldog, who is generally a love but a real terror about having her nails clipped (imagine the Tasmanian Devil after a double latte!) I had tried many other groomers without success, but Jen's gentle manner and nerves of steel overcame Lucy's fear. We decided we needed basic dog training, for ourselves and our pup. We also used the kennel for boarding and for grooming of our dogs, and always had confidence that the very best care possible was being provided. We were always impressed that special care was given to our dogs if they weren't eating or needed a bit more exercise while boarding. I took my pup to play group at the kennel almost every day, once she got big enough to play with the larger dogs, and got to know Jen and Jen on a daily basis through play group. It became obvious to me watching how play group was run that both have a ton of experience with all kinds of dogs, that dogs are a key part of their life, and that dogs respond to them. My wife and I were both very sad to see Jen and Jen leave the Boxford kennel, and have had to seek alternatives for play group with their departure. My wife and I recommend Jen and Jen without reservation and enthusiastically for dog care and training."
