| We offer both indoor and outdoor agility classes. Indoor classes held year round, and in nice weather our outdoor classes are sponsored by the Arlington Recreation Department. Our indoor facility is VERY small, and the number of dog/handler teams is limited to (4) per class. With an instructor-student ratio of 1:4, you and your dog will receive plenty of individual run-thrus & attention! We have both small-sized practice obstacles and competition-sized equipment. Room & equipment rental to practice agility on your own time is also available by appointment if you are signed up for a current agility class or are a previous agility client. Rental rates are $10.00 for 20 minutes. Because we will set up and break down the equipment for you, a cancellation fee may apply if you cancel your room rental appointment. Safety is very important for our agility students - we have a safe, non-skid rubber flooring down in our facility. No excessive jumping will be allowed - all dogs will be measured and jump at their correct jump height only. Puppies and dogs under 18 months of age will have restricted jumping for their own safety. Agility is recommended for all dogs over 8 weeks of age to help acclimate them to the equipment, boost confidence, and strengthen their muscles. |
