| Oh, Canada! "Simon" was chosen as the Reserve Best Open Dog at the Canadian National Trial. It was an honor to show under Judge David Jones. This Englishman's Jack Russells play a huge part in the history of virtually every American breeder's terriers and it was an experience of a lifetime for Simon to be awarded such high honors under this highly-regarded terrier expert and master judge. Simon was also the winner of his conformation class, winner of suitability to raccoon/badger class, winner of the Best Foreign Bred Dog class, and awarded the Foxnorton Bullet Perpetual Trophy for Best Foreign Bred Terrier under Judge David Jones |

| "Simon" is an all-around terrier with consistent ribbons in conformation, and ALL performance events. He is also an exceptional agility, rally-o, and obedience dog. He does it ALL! With excellent conformation and an incredibly narrow chest, this large dog can fit himself into small openings - even tiny groundhog holes! He is a natural worker in the field, and very driven. He will find quarry wherever possible, as a big possum in our yard sadly found out. He is also an accomplished sire - his offspring from two different litters have been Yankee Puppy Champion two years in a row - 2010 and 2011. He has been bred twice (both times to rough / broken bitches) and still sired an incredible 4 smooth puppies out of 7! Of his 7 offspring, 5 have been show quality - and 3 of those have been champions!!!! Most importantly, Simon has an exceptional temperament. He is incredibly easy to live with, and polite in every situation. This one is a true gentleman, and we are blessed to have him. He is the perfect example of the terrier we strive to breed - one that possesses correct conformation, gorgeous movement, a kind temperament, strong drive for fieldwork, and an "off" button while in the house! At home, Simon is a snuggly couch potato! |
