"Unable are the loved to die. For love is immortality."
-Emily Dickinson
This tiny little funny-eared dog was the light of our lives.....
She was our first introduction to the Jack Russell breed, and the reason we are so devoted to them
to this day. Although not "show quality" (though she knew she was the queen of our hearts), she
was the perfect pet, very fun to be around, & a great obedience, rally, and agility dog.

Gillian gave 110% to everything that she did - she was always on the go and was good at it all!
She loved to swim, run in the woods, play with her squeaky toys, and go until she dropped.
She held onto the same vibrancy and love of life from the time she was brought home at 10 weeks
old, until the day came for her to leave this earth.

Although spayed at 6 months and never a mother herself, she was a wonderful puppy nanny and
enjoyed babysitting the puppies and teaching them the rules of the house, and all her good habits.

She will always be missed, and never be forgotten.........

We took our first "real" vacation in years back in November 2009, and drove down (with the dogs, of course!) to visit Jen H's parents
in Florida. They have a gorgeous house, with an equally gorgeous in-ground pool. Much to our dog's delight, they were allowed to
spend their days poolside, swimming, diving, playing with water toys, and having more fun than they thought possible.
It was only 4 months after this picture was taken that Gillian became very ill with bladder cancer and had to be put to sleep. I will
never forget the week we spent in Florida, or the happiness on her face as she swam laps around the pool............
