| Make your dog into an EARTHDOG! Does your dog dream of chasing and hunting squirrels? Does your dog perk up every time something fluffy runs by? Allow them to live their dream and to have some fun by coming to Go to Ground class! What is Go To Ground (GTG)? GTG is designed to test the hunting ability of dogs bred to work underneath the earth (terriers, dachshunds, etc.) Using wooden tunnels, GTG creates an “underground” world for your dog where they must execute twists, turns, and surface changes - all in the dark! They follow the tunnel to the end and find their quarry (usually a rat!) The reward is finding their quarry and being allowed to work at it (barking, digging, etc.) Please Note: The rats used are well-loved pets and are kept safe from the dogs at ALL TIMES! They are quite used to the commotion of being "hunted" and are not affected! This class is ideal for your city-living, squirrel-chasing dog to explore what they were bred to do! Open to all dogs who will fit in a 9” tunnel (you will be surprised how much bigger dogs will squeeze to get in!) this class promises to be incredibly fun and exciting for your dog. REGISTER EARLY - SPACE IS LIMITED! Go To Ground (GTG) Class: (Recommended for dogs who can fit into a 9" tunnel - any dog under 20 lbs should be able to fit - your dog will squeeze to get in!) BEGINNER DOGS (dogs new to GTG) will be schooled with the quarry and work through a 10' tunnel. EXPERIENCED DOGS (dogs who have previous GTG experience) will be schooled through the 30' tunnel. Each session is one 30 minute class - Cost $20.00 |
