Jennifer Hansen (Co-owner and founder)
For over 12 years, Jen H. has worked in animal care, held an active membership to APDT,  and has taught
obedience and agility classes.  Jen is certified in pet First Aid & CPR,  and has a love and appreciation of
all animals. She spent 6 years serving as a reserve police officer and has also worked for animal control.
Jen has participated in animal care educational demonstrations for K-12 schoolchildren, agility demos,
and run canine playgroups.

Jen P. grew up on Lake Erie in Ohio, competing in horse shows and has always been an animal lover.
Jen graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design and Architecture, but realized her true calling
was to work with animals. She particularly loves feisty terriers!
She has over 6 years experience in all-levels of obedience classes and behavioral consultations, run
canine playgroups, and is certified in pet First Aid & CPR. Jen is a certified AKC Canine Good
Citizenship Evaluator and is a professional groomer and member of the National Dog Groomers
Association of America.
The Jens are also members of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America (JRTCA), and compete in terrier

Kate Terry - "She does it all!"
Kate grew up loving all animals and decided to pursue a career working with all types of pets. She has
worked with animals for over 13 yrs, been a Veterinary Assistant for 5 years, and has taken courses for a
degree in animal behavior at the Animal Behavior College (ABC). Kate has exceptional veterinary
knowledge, canine daycare and playgroup experience and is currently apprenticing as a trainer in our
obedience and  agility classes!

Jen and Jen's Family:
Gillian is an 12-year old Jack Russell Terrier.  She enjoys digging, jumping,
swimming, and playing with rocks. Gilly competes in terrier trials, and loves to run
or swim 100 mph whenever she gets the chance. Gilly has a zest for life, but also
can be a real couch potato! She is more like a little person than a dog!
Gilly has proudly earned her first qualifying score in Rally-Obedience at the
ripe old age of 10 years! She's a future Rally star!!!!!

Monty is an 11-year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi.  He enjoys retrieving,
eating, and his toys. Monty is an exceptional obedience and agility dog and
has earned his CGC title. He is a true showman, performing for anyone
who dares to look his way.

Alice is a 6 year old DSH cat. She was also adopted from the MSPCA
a few months after Phin. Alice loves to beat up on her little brother as well
as boss the dogs around.  She loves spicy food, climbing as high as she can,
and showing off her beautiful white belly.

Tyler is a six-year old handsome Akita mix.  He loves to run on the beach
and is a very happy fellow! He is smart and very eager to please.
He was adopted three years ago and loves his family!

Leelu is a four-year old Catahoula Leopard Dog / Cattle Dog Mix. She
has a beautiful spotted coat and is very sweet. She was adopted last year
and is a wonderful girl who loves to play with her kitties and cuddle.

Fraggle Fitz is a 3year old Tortie adopted from the MSPCA. She loves
to chase the dogs and steal their toys! She is a very tough little kitty.

Joey is a3 yr old handsome longhaired cat. He entertains everyone with his
vocal conversations and enjoys eating and cuddling. He also is a big fan of
eating all kinds of plants!!

Simon - aka "Kimberwicke American Idol"  is  a 2-year old handsome and
oh-so-sweet Jack Russell Terrier stud dog. Simon loves to play at
daycare with his friends, but still loves his big sister Gilly the best!  Simon is
an accomplished show dog and competes in conformation and performance
events. He has championed on the National level and we are very proud of
him! Simon earned the title of "Best Foreign Bred Terrier" at the 2009
Canadian Jack Russell Terrier National Trial!!!!  See his page here!
Fiona is a gorgeous 3 1/2 year old Paint x Palomino filly. She is very
intelligent, friendly, and eager to start her training under saddle! Fiona came
from New Hampshire and her sire is the #1 ranked Hunter-Under-Saddle
Paint horse in the country. She is a wonderful addition to our family!

Calypso
Calypso - aka "Sea Dog Calypso"  is an adorable Jack Russell Terrier who
just turned a year old. She started off her 2009 show season with a bang - in
her first trial she earned Reserve Puppy Conformation Champion!!!!!!! She
competes in performance events and conformation and loves greeting
everyone at daycare - a true social butterfly!!!! See her page here!
